It's time to "Paint the Night Purple" to campaign against domestic violence. Safe Haven of Pike County is hosting the party from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, at the Phoenix, Route 209, Dingmans Ferry. Safe Haven is also sponsoring events in Milford: an open mic night starting 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Frisky Goat Coffeehouse, its annual candlelight vigil at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, in front of the Pike County Courthouse. And then there's the "Ladies' Night Out" fundraiser at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, at the Catskill Mountains Resort in Barryville, N.Y. For more information visit Safe Haven of Pike County on Facebook. Pictured is a Safe Haven Facebook photo of PA State Rep.
