— It was a cold but rain-free morning on Nov. 18, when Delaware Valley's Cross Country Team hosted the fifth annual DV Turkey Trot 5K Race at Delaware Valley High School.

The runners and walkers, including Trotter the Turkey, navigated their way on the cross country course and finished on the stadium track. The participants were very generous with their donations of non-perishable foods items, which filled 12 large boxes with food donations. These items were distributed to the Ecumenical Food Pantry of Pike County and the Holy Trinity Food Pantry in Dingmans Ferry. A portion of the proceeds from the race were also donated to both food pantries.
