Eagle Scout project brings music to school in Cameroon

For his Eagle Scout project, Delaware Valley High School student Jonathan Langberg started a band program at the Good Shepherd Academy, a nonprofit school in Cameroon, central Africa. He organized a used instrument collection drive and gathered 33 instruments. All of the instruments were repaired to top condition by the Milford Music Center at a very generous rate. Jonathan shipped the instruments to Cameroon, and the band program will be starting at the academy later in 2018. Jonathan would like to thank the countless volunteers and donors who made the project a reality. (Photo provided)
