Fred James McDougall of Milford, Pa., dies at age 100

Fred James McDougall of Milford, Pa., passed away on Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at Valley View Care Center, Newton, N.J. He was 100.

Son of the late Fred and Alice (Skank) McDougall, he was born on Feb. 3, 1918, in Elizabeth, N.J. He was married to Ellen (Wood) McDougall, who preceded him in death on May 5, 1998.

He was a warehouse manager for Singer in Elizabeth, N.J.; a member of the LaFayette Lodge No. 27 F. and A.M., Rahway, N.J.; and a United States Air Force Veteran, serving in World War II.

He leaves behind his daughters, Donna Giorano of Morristown, N.J., and Theresa Maisco and her husband, Raymond, of Milford; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the St. Vincent de Paul Church, 101 St. Vincent de Paul Church, 101 St. Vincent Drive, Milford. The Rev. John Boyle will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Sharing Fund, 101 St. Vincent Drive, Milford, PA 18337.

Arrangements are being made by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford.
