Are you ready for the Paupack Plunge? This frigid fundraiser for the Ledgedale Dive Team and Tafton Water Rescue Team will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at Lighthouse Harbor Marina, 969 PA-507, Greentown. "Remember...we're freezin’ for a reason!" say the sponsors of the annual event, in which ordinary citizens get into their bathing suits, and then jump into Lake Wallenpaupack, in midwinter. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from the plungers and their sponsors are donated. Sign up (Photo of a past Plunge by George Leroy Hunter)
