— Registration is now open for this summer's nature adventure camp at the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans Ferry.

The camp, which has been running since 1998, is designed to help campers grow and explore under the guidance of staff. Staff members include instructors, interns, and counselors hired based on experience and given extensive training in childhood behavior, special needs, risk management, and other camp-related topics. All staff undergo background checks before working with children.

Campers will enjoy hiking, playing games, and exploring a national park under close supervision. The camp day runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Lunch is available for $50 per week and includes a sandwich, fruit, granola bar, and chips. Campers with special dietary needs can be accommodated if at least one week's notice is given.

Transportation service is available for $50 per week at Milford Health Center.Pickup times are 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Before-camp care is available for $25 starting at 8 a.m.

After-camp care is available for $25 until 5 p.m., $50 for both. Single day before or after camp is available for $15. Any camper picked up later than 5 p.m. will incur a $15 late fee.
