— The 17th annual Milford Music Festival, from June 22 through June 24, will take place on the streets of Milford Borough, which will be overflowing with local musicians, sidewalk sales, and street food.

Excitement is building.

“We’re seen a real increase in not only the attendance of our events this year, but also in the participation for the businesses in the community,” said Dave Wallace, president of the Milford Presents Board of Directors. “This years Music Festival will surely be even better than the last, with more musical performances at local businesses.”

The festival will primarily be centered around Broad and Harford Streets. All ages are encouraged to come out to the festival, which is free to attend.

This year's will feature regional musicians like Eibes, Young at Heart, and Olivia Zinn, as well as past festival favorites like Scott Weis Band, Leo B., Bobby Kyle, Circle Jam, Will Hoppey, and Chris Raabe Band. Musical selections vary in genre, ranging from classic rock, traditional folk, indie, and modern pop.

More than 20 businesses in the borough will play host to the performers, showcasing more than 30 musical artists and groups throughout the weekend (please see sidebar).

Other events throughout the borough include:

The Strawberry Festival at the Methodist Church at 206 East Ann Street on Saturday
