Linda A. DeGroat dies at age 62

Linda A. DeGroat passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, N.Y. She was 62.

Daughter of the late Frederick Applegate and Donna May Leavitt, She was born on February 3, 1956 in Washington Township, N.J.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne DeGroat.

She is survived by daughters, Maryann DeGroat and husband, Thomas Hull, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., and Jennifer Synder and husband, Aaron, of Dingmans Ferry; son, Timothy Applegate and wife, Mary, of Port Jervis, N.Y.; sisters, Karen Applegate, Cheryl Smith and husband, Gregory Hust, and Nancy Applegate; grandchildren, Tammy Marie, John, Darlene, Jessica, Megan, Carlee, Latasha, Julia, Chelsie, and Hunter; and great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Addison, Leland, Ryan, Cameron, Payton, Jace, and Ren-Ren.

She was predeceased by her daughter Tammy DeGroat and grandchildren, Sierra Synder and Amber Conklin. Visitation was held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 10:00 - 11:00am at the Knight-AuchmoodyFuneral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771. Funeral services followed at 11:00am. Interment took place privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Port Jervis, N.Y.
