Rock music, Delaware River art, and swing this weekend at the Cooperage

HONESDALE — The Cooperage Project's doors are open all weekend long, offering the following happenings:
The Dives play rock n' roll on Friday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Grab dinner from the Walking Taco Company Food Truck.

"Across The Delaware: A Fine Art Exhibit" will be open from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The Cooperage will be transformed into an art gallery featuring the works of Delaware Valley regional artists. Presented by The Cooperage Project, The Wayne County Arts Alliance, and The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, this juried exhibit is free and open to the public. Artwork will be available for purchase.
Contributing artists include Dorothy Gillespie, Ula Nero, Susan Cottle, Todd Anderson, Anthony Biancoviso, Claudia Bocker, Elizabeth Castellano, Warren Pardi, Alan Wood, and Ellen Silberlicht.
Swing Night happens from 4 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14. The suggested donation is $10 per person, or $20 with dance instruction, with the workshop from 4 to 6 p.m. by Swingin' in NEPA. Instruction is by Jaymee and Aaron from Gas House Swing. Live music is by Little Big Band.
