Readers share thoughts on their favorite local pizzerias
The following comments were posted on the Courier's Facebook page in response to the recent story "Luna Rossa named 'Best Pizzeria in Pennsylvania' by Money and Yelp."
Margaret Enos Veydovec: Love their pizza.
Sean Magee: My dad, John Magee, does the art that you see on the windows. Check out his IG account if you get a chance @johnswindowpainting.
Valerie Prochaska Dooley: The best pizza is John's of Arthur Ave. Absolutely the best. Not only is John's pizza the best, his other food is great too. And his staff is the best. He has the nicest, friendliest staff.
Christopher Karangis: Collin is doing a great job he’s fortunate to have loyal customers like yourself...
Henry Staine: Not taking away from Luna Rossa, but it's like Ray and Charles claiming to have the best hamburger in ALL of Pa. I hope people realize that Pa. is a pretty big state. Just sayin.
Tom Meade: Good Time Pizza in Dingmans was my favorite and the only thing I miss since I moved.
Michelle Stevens Ashworth: Luna Rossa is our favorite place for take out pizza. If we want to go in and sit down for pizza our favorite place to go is Len and Joe's.
Bryan Pol: As I said earlier: IT IS NOT EVEN THE BEST PIZZERIA WITHIN FIVE MILES. Not even top 5.
William Tarkett: LMAO!! Dream on!
John A. Kazmierczak: Obviously never had Goodfellas in Westfall. By far the best.
Fred Page: Goodfellas....
