Operation Christmas Child:On Nov. 12, Milford Bible Church will open to collect shoebox gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items for the Samaritan's Purse project.

During the project's National Collection Week, Nov. 12-19, Milford volunteers hope to collect more than 12,907 gifts to contribute to Operation Christmas Child's 2018 goal of reaching 11 million children in need overseas.

Drop-off times at Milford Bible Church, 110 Foxcroft Drive, Milford, are as follows:

Monday, Nov. 12 — 8:30 a.m.-noon

Tuesday, Nov. 13 — 7-9 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 14 — 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 15 — 8:30 a.m.-noon

Friday, Nov. 16 — 8:30 a.m.-noon

Saturday, Nov. 17: 9 a.m.-noon

Sunday, Nov. 18 — Noon-2 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 19 — 8:30 a.m.-noon

Zipper Junction Project:The Zipper Junction Project is partnering with The Wayne County Ford & Bold Gold Media Holiday Toy Drive Challenge to make sure that all children who live in Wayne and Pike counties will find wonderful gifts under the tree this year.

A toy drop-off is located at The Lake Store, 1019 Route 390, at Promised Land State Park in Greentown, which may be reached at 570-676-3741. Toys will be accepted through Dec. 5.

Hours are as follows:

Sunday — 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Monday — 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Tuesday — 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Wednesday — 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Thursday — 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Friday — 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

Saturday — 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

To receive toys, sign up anytime from now through Nov. 25. The toy drive also needs more drop-off sites and volunteers. For more information visit ZipperJunction.org.
